I've been doing turkeys this way for several years and they always come out perfect!
Breast meat is never dry!

Too Much CRAP

and whats with the TurkeyPod ???
I Cook My Turkey Breast side DOWN

YEP BREAST DOWN with a whole Stick of butter stuffed inside with a couple Sticks of celery and A small quartered Onion Salt and pepper Buttered legs and back under an aluminum Tent
Until the legs are ready to run out of that Oven
And there's NO DOUBT that Bird is done
I take it out let it set for just about a half hour then I use My BIG Meat Forks
(my son said they look like short Pitch Forks) and flip it over on the plate
And the Breast is never NEVER Dry and tastes fantastic ~
I never stuff the Bird

I've done them that way too! By being breast down, the pan is shielding the breast from the heat like the foil in Alton's recipe. Of course the breast will never get crispy on the outside..
My sister insists on using those oven roasting bags.
Everyone has their favorite way.
Working in the meat business though, you'd be amazed at how many don't have a clue.
I've had 60ish year old women ask how to cook a chuck roast!!
Never could figure out how someone got to be that old and not know how to do that..
